◆ Description This asset recreates the headquarters factory of Showa Note Co., Ltd., located in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Showa Note is widely known in Japan for producing the “Japonica Study Notebook”, a type of exercise book that almost every Japanese child has used in elementary school.
The Takaoka factory, rebuilt in 2018, combines the memory of the old plant with a new architectural design. Its distinctive feature is the repeated “saw-tooth” roofline, which reflects the atmosphere of traditional factories while presenting a modern and open appearance.
